<<Amazon sucks>>

I buy a lot from Ebay. Living out in the sticks means trips to the big stores are not convenient.

Amazon is on the bottom of my selection, because of who they are, but I do use them occasionally. There is always the bs with having to refuse the prime service and getting the shipping fee lifted.

Been buying foot ware recently, and a lot of stuff had to be returned before I got the right size and fit. Really excellent service and I got everything I wanted eventually. Work rated steel toe cap trainers and boots were exceptional value as they are exempted from VAT tax, made in China. High quality, low cost & hard wearing products.

On Ebay, I only score two marks:- 5 stars or zero stars. Occasionally a product does not meet my standard and I send it back and get refunded. Then I give them 4 marks. Once it's an honest try at providing a good service, they get a really good score. Once in 10 years have I awarded 0 stars. Maybe 5% of the time I have to remind a seller how my scoring system works. Never had to escalate a sale to the Ebay management.

Overall I am impressed with the Ebay system.
