I have the largest queen bee company in the US stack hives for free on my farm. Hundreds of hives. They give me as much free honey as I want because they are only concerned with raising queens which are sold worldwide every year. The avo trees are flowering now and as i walk through the trees harvesting late fruit the wonderful bees gently fly around me. The sound of bees buzzing is awesome...a sweet sweet sound for a farmer. Even when i occasionally mow around the hives once or twice a year the bees are no bother. Honey bees are gentle and I've never been stung. The bee keepers come every few weeks to drain honey and they are covered in bees without a single sting.
