Absolutely, totally spot on.

Many years ago when I worked at KWSU -TV I helped edit a half hour weekly program for farmers in Eastern Washington put on by the Ag dept at WSU.

One episode I remember vividly put together back in the late 1970's was about pollinators (bees) and how critical the timing was for various crops.

Native bees were only effective for native vegetation that existed thousands of years ago, not the mono cultures we have today.
