It looks like we are going to break some high temperature records in southern BC this weekend.

In other news, in a normal year, around 10 'zombie fires' make it through the winter in BC. This year the number is more than 120.

And I was listening to a meteorologist describing all the crazy weather we've had in BC over this winter. Probably the craziest happened in NE BC, where they experienced a 50 degree temperature swing in less than 24 hours. And not those wimpy little Fahrenheit degrees either. This is 50C, equivalent to 90F.

Imagine the temperature one day being -30F, and the next day +60F!
