With the 800 Mhz capability the phone can be used virtually everywhere in the US where there is cellular service. By contrast, the 1900 Mhz Q phone can only run on Sprints CDMA network. This is a HUGE advantage. The dual mode phones are by far the most popular to carriers setting up new networks. In addition, it has no visable antenna - cool.
