Trump is unable to make $464 million bond in civil fraud case, his lawyers tell court (CNN)

Seems like none of the underwriters want to accept Trump's properties as collateral for the bond.

Gee, I wonder why. Maybe they're worth much less than what Trump claims?

After all, two weeks ago he was claiming he was "too rich" to have to pay the bond for the Carroll case:

Donald Trump Says He's Too Rich to Put Up $90 Million Bond (Newsweek)

Now he's saying he isn't "rich enough" to cover the $464M bond for the civil fraud case.

These things matter, Bill.

Trump's word matters.

And to quote Top Gun, Trump's ego is writing checks his real assets can't cash.
