Your comments ignore that this particular phenomenon is unprecedented. Temperatures this warm have never been recorded., with many more records being broken across BC yesterday, and more to come today. These records are being broken by between 5-10C.

Speaking of which, Environment Canada has just announced that Canada had the warmest December through February since they started keeping records 77 years. It was more than 5C above the average for that three month period.

And I am listening to an interview on the radio with a scientist telling us that if current trends continue there will be no Arctic sea ice at all in the summer within ten years. If this prediction comes true, this will ahve major ramifications for the entire Northern hemisphere.

With all this bad news arriving, I continue to follow to my philosophy -- pessimism of the intellect, optimism of the will.
