TRENDMASTERS WAR PLANETS INVADE CHILDREN'S TELEVISION
110 Stations Already Cleared for Fall '98
NEW YORK, NY, February 10, 1998 - Trendmasters, Inc., creators of the War PlanetsTM toy line announced today that War Planets is being produced as an animated television series and has already cleared 110 markets. The program, slated for fall syndication, will blanket 86% of the country with all 50 of the top 50 television markets committed to airing the series.
Trendmasters imagineers created the highly successful War Planets line at its St. Louis headquarters. War Planets includes everything children love: transformation, construction, destruction and the classic struggle of the heroes against the bad guys. With more than 20 pieces per planet, children have the ability to construct limitless environments and planetary systems.
The excitement of these battle sets come to life in a new computer generated imaging (CGI) animated series that hits the airways in fall '98. Trendmasters and Mainframe Entertainment, Inc. have committed to develop 40 episodes of the series.
