The reasons are quite simple more so as a result of the more popular cancers.
All connected to processed food and food you eat which was previously sprayed with pesticides and other poisonous materials.

Secondly is air pollution mostly in the cities and along busy highways you often travel, the emitted gases and spreading of nano-particles distort the DNA replication and thing can get the wrong way.

Statistics of people that live a simple far away type of live eat untreated or sprayed food could help discern the problem.

Does anyone remember how popular smoking was and how many cancer cases resulted from smoking "fancy aroma " cigarettes
