Yep in most Western countries the legal system has a ton of what's called Lawyers. Among other things, they advise all those people being called to testify of what their rights are and how best to proceed to protect them and maxamize what's legally avaliable to them. It's sorta one of the basic tenants of Capitalism--until recently anyway--so I know it must seen strange to you. But them's the facts Jack!
