Again Wharfie, I'm not denying that the climate is changing, or the "rate" at which it is changing is due to human activity. Like I have said many times in the past, 8 billion humans on the face of this earth is going to have a significant impact on the planetary ecosystem.

What I AM saying is that, in light of all of the above, the BEST way forward is to adapt. Humans have adapted to the climate over our entire history on this planet. Now we have the best, most modern means of adaptation. Let's use them.

The foolish way forward is to pretend that we can stop the climate from changing, or that we can return to some "ideal" rate of climate change. That's complete folly, one that is driven by ideological dogma.

Finally, the most DISHONEST way forward is to sue oil companies and pretend that THEY are responsible for this climate changey thingy. It's a complete money grab, and it diverts the blame away from ourselves and toward an easy-to-target demagogue.
