They are just locked into their point of view and are uncritically minded. They insult when their point of view is challenged and they feel threatened.

They never question their views. This applies to the conservatives also. So, they spend all day insulting and spewing hate towards one another rather than having a constructive, insult free dialogue.

It is pretty sad. But what you see on this thread is basically what goes on in most of US society. Geez, it has even gone on in the floor of the Senate. We have had Senators who have challenged the other side to a fight.

It really is pretty pathetic..

As for myself, I'm pretty numb to it since it has become a fairly common everyday occurrence.

Even our Presidents do it.
