Apple documentation and downloads Apple has a new documentation website with better organized basic information about its products, including specifications and user manuals, but its “downloads” appear to be limited to plugins rather than actually offering links to download macOS or apps. Documentation Manuals, Specs, and Downloads Instead, Apple uses a completely unrelated web page for information about downloading macOS. How to download and install macOS Download and install current or previous versions of the Mac operating system on compatible Mac computers. Meanwhile, customers trying to find and download apps are forced down yet another path: Apple’s App Store with all its issues. You can try the following link to see if it helps narrow down that mess: https://apps.apple.com/us/developer/apple/id284417353?mt=12 ---------- I suspect Apple will streamline and fix this in the future, much like at one time they didn't allow older versions of macOS to be downloaded easily but reversed that later.
