Were criminal charges brought against that guy???

Got a judgement -- and he paid most of it over time -- course that didn't fix my neck. I was rear-ended about 6 years later again ...

You know prior to that, if I ever saw someone with a neck collar -- I thought that is a good dodge to get some money if you've been in a car wreck. Getting hit and injured -- especially the 2nd time around -- completely changed my outlook on that. I didn't recover anything near what I have spent in dealing with it.

Thankfully at this point it is mostly annoying from time to time and not debilitating.

The 2nd time, my brain was scrambled to the point I couldn't drive home. If I'd have been wise -- I would have went across the street to the ER and waited. Attorney's didn't want to touch since I didn't go to the ER.

So here is some advice: Get in an accident. Even think you may have been hurt (you really don't know at the time because of adrenalin response) -- go straight to the ER and wait to be seen. Go back to DR if you have trouble to be sure you have a good documentation of your injuries.
