First of all, Owens never stated how Donald Trump or the Republicans helped Black Americans. The most that a politician can do is give a free education to the poor and an opportunity to improve their lot in life. No politician can do anything more than that. It all begins with a supportive family and a burning desire within to improve yourself. On another note, I was the original founder and moderator of this thread and gladly turned over the reigns to Horgad a number of years ago. Since Horgad has not posted on SI for the past 15+ months, I have retaken the role of moderator. I am not going to let people like Howlitzer hijack this thread. He has been banned. If you want to have dialogue here and not post partisan right wing or conservative stuff, that's fine. Otherwise, please read the subject header.
