I've seen Ivermectin non-prescription in New York CVS as topical acne treatment (seemed pricey also).

Of course there is a big difference between topical application and oral - so that's why I was wondering whether it is prescription or not.

So if one wants to take it without obtaining a prescription, one has to take the (likely less pure) version for animals, and in the US there is the option for likely non effectual topical version.

Canada sounds horrible - I hope things turn around there!
