BB,

Gold- Oui monsiour ! ABX or index or the metal itself like Warren B.

Blow off- For 6 months SEA and other bad news were good only
to keep the market from going higher. Now the market IS higher and ready to ignore ALL bad news.
I look at the multinationals - GE KO PG (with lukewarm report)
- and arrive at the conclusion there's nothing in the technicals to keep them from going higher. Only common sense which
was lost a year ago never to be found again.
Price/Book of KO and MRK looks more like a P/E number, and P/Es look like alien technology.

Flowers to Aljarnoun was a short story that was turned into a novella and a play (maybe a film, too) called Charley.
It's about a moron that turns into a genius in a SF experiment, and then back.
Aljarnoun is a white mouse going thru the same experiment. Charley is the guy.
The original story was written in the late '50s I think, a SF short story.
