The State should be independent of all Religions, including Christianity.

The reason for this is that Christianity represents the promise of an eternal happiness and the obligation of the State is to ideally provide equal opportunity for all to pursue happiness in this life and succeed.

As a minority religion, I have absolutely no qualms whatsoever with the claims of Christianity, Hinduism, Islam or Jainism.

I don't debate claims of religious faith because they are basically undebatable. There are good arguments pro and con.

I am very opposed to the Republican stance of aligning themselves with evangelicals and Christianity. The Founding Fathers were very adamant against aligning with one religion over another.

I like the Dem stance better of maintaining public neutrality in regard to all positions of faith.

My stance in regard to Transgender is the same. I am neutral. If people want to change sexes, that's their business, not mine. Honestly, I don't have an opinion in regard to that. I don't play Judge unless it affects humanity as a whole.

My stance toward abortion is the same. I am neutral. It is not for me to choose for others. So, I am pro choice for others. Pro life for myself, but my wife disagreed so she had an abortion. It was a tough pill to swallow. We argued long and hard about it. I ripped into her. She stood her ground. I hated her guts for having an abortion. But I would not do that with other people. It doesn't bother me in the least if I am not personally involved.

I would keep my mouth shut because I think there are good arguments pro and con on the abortion side.
