The middle class has been getting squeezed for the longest time, squeezed by the Republicans and Democrats. They really have no where to turn for help, outside of themselves, of course. This is why they have recently been turning from one party to the other on hopes of a better life. Trump has no answer or solution to strengthen the middle class. But he understands their predicament and has engaged them in dialogue offering them reasons for the deterioration in their lifestyle. The middle class is desperate and will listen to any politician who proposes to have a plan to help them. President Biden is behind in the polls because he has not entered this dialogue with the middle class.. The strategy of Biden's team is to talk about how great the economy is and to hammer Trump's character, with the help of the courts. But this strategy is not working and I do not expect it to work moving forward.
