So if mining companies such as NEM engaged in hedging their production at lower rates it would stand to reason that this would cause less participation as gold value goes up.
This leverage strategy used to be a viable idea when gold is flat.
Not sure if NEM still maintains such hedge.

Is anyone aware of miners who don’t?
