Doubt that rates have much to do with it.

Fed already said inflation is enemy number one.

What better way to combat inflation than to print a bunch of funny money, buy the dollar, and sell all the commodity markets?

Especially after big money has been flowing into metals and commodities.

Hand all those folks losses - take that money and purchase bonds to drive rates lower and support equity prices.

Economics? Old school .... as long as the credit card has no limit ... anything goes and markets are placed where they want them.

They been playing this game for over 40 years - no reason to stop now ...

Do you really think they plan on losing control?
