SMS/MMS was built as a simple text messaging system. iMessage has other features, like text emphasis graphics and end-to-end encryption.
Again, why should Apple be required to help its competition? I want Apple to sell more iPhones and iOS devices, not offer more features to Android users from which Apple gets no benefit.

Apple has plenty of cash to work on those other things too and hire enough coders to do so.
Rumors are AI and Siri will get a big improvement at WWDC in iOS 18, and I know you prefer to use Chrome, but I consider Safari a far better web browser.
I've read two posts on Reddit by former Windows users recently that say macOS is just "better" and they can't imagine going back.
I thought Windows was catching up with Windows 7, but then Microsoft messed up the interface again with 8 and beyond by trying to adopt a GUI based on tiles. It sucks.
I used to run Windows in a VM but left it behind years ago when it was revealed how little they respect the privacy of their users. |
