It's OK where I am. It's agricultural, and the folks haven't changed much in attitude for the last few centuries.
Sometimes, an almighty fuk up is the best thing that can happen, as it means there likely will be a change in direction, and an awakening. The population is sparse where I am, most of the population in Scotland live in the central belt. They will be seeing most of the adverse aspects regarding the new law I suspect, and we will see how well that goes.
The Scottish Nationalists were regarded as suspect, and have likely bought a one way ticket out of existence with the new leader Humza Yousaf. His predecessor, Nicola Sturgeon, was absolutely despised around here. Humza will be liked even less.
The Scots are accustomed at appearing civilised, polite, and even handed until opportunity presents itself to change things.
