Baidu. While it's commonly stated that Baidu is the "Google" of China, I did read years ago that more people frequently search those ecosystems or others for their searches, rather than Baidu. True or not, significant or not, it's been a reason for me to pass on the stock.

GOOG. I have several years posted my simplistic estimate of GOOG's share price for the upcoming year. Right now my estimate is that GOOG will/should trade for fair price of $189 in 2025. Stock price now about $154. My feeling is that my estimates in past have been correct, at least directionally correct. Ha. Maybe or likely, just by chance and not by predictive excellence or skill. The benefit to me though has been that every time over the years seeing a current "predictive" number higher than the current share price has given me kind of an anchor - a little confidence and impetus to it stick with the shares as they moved up and down during the years with market swings and Google good & bad news. Perhaps all wrong-headed, but it's worked out ok for me (so far).
