Brumar,
He was a popular mayor of NYC but now he's a bankrupt drunken loser who bashes his former home as "communist." That's the power of ETTD donny. No one can ruin lives like donny can
That's for sure.

Rudy wasn't just a popular mayor because he was a "cool guy." He was a popular mayor because he got shit done.

After the nightmare that was David Dinkins, Rudy reversed course and implemented policies that enforced law and order in the city. He ran up against liberals who were vehemently opposed to Rudy's pro-cop bias and were aghast at Rudy's supposed violation of civil liberties, especially among the "racially disadvantaged."

Yet in the end, Rudy's policies proved to be a HUGE success, and NYC underwent a true renaissance in every sense of the word.

Since then, NYC backslid into a state that even David Dinkins wouldn't be able to recognize. Bill de Blasio in particular was a HORRIBLE mayor, the very definition of "woke" that the left these days still clings onto.

You would think that Rudy would be welcomed back with open arms, but nope. He went all-in with the Q Continuum, and now his public persona is in complete shambles.

From TIME's Person of the Year to a complete train wreck. As a former admirer of Rudy, I find his downfall to be most telling.
