As supplies become finite FF's have always been finite! Where have you been the last two hundred odd years? Why do you guys have to keep drilling in new areas? Because the resource base is being depleted and we are running out. Prices are rising as the technology cost to get that unit of energy out of the ground becomes ever more expensive. That's where renewables win. It simply comes down to the LCOE. Economics
