When the law no longer protects you from the corrupt, but protects the corrupt from you – you know your nation is doomed. AYN RAND .Although I admire the hell out of Ayn Rand, I would slightly disagree with her above statement. When the level of corruption becomes overwhelming, doing nothing would doom the nation. It's the status quo that's doomed, and civil war and/or revolution becomes inevitable when a sufficient number of citizens become fed up with it. Look at the history of western civilization for examples. Increasing numbers are indeed getting fed up these days and the kettle is slowly boiling. Interesting times in store..
