They waited three years to bring charges so they could be SURE to interfere with the election.
Maybe with Alvin Bragg and the payments to a pron star, which as I have mentioned many times before are likely the weakest of the criminal cases against Trump.

However, the classified documents case was due to dumbass things Trump did up to a year and a half AFTER he left office:

Part of the delay in filing charges stemmed from Trump's own delay tactics. If anyone was to blame for the timing of the charges, it's Trump himself, ironically.
You'd have to be an idiot to think this isn't 100% political.
Or I can just point out the substance of the evidence against Trump, as I have numerous times with regard to the classified documents case.

And I can point out that people like you, who are prone to see the world in terms of black-n-white, that ANY hint of politicization means it's "100% political."

Moreover, I can point out that ANY politician who is criminally charged is obviously going to accuse the prosecutors of "playing politics." That includes Bob Menendez who claims that charges against him are part of a "politically-motivated smear campaign."

Who's the idiot now, Mr. "nOt a dImE"?
