Hitler ? Nonsense , S. Jobs brought J. Cannavino into the CEO search

The august CEO search firm (8-9/97) did not entertain JC as a CEO possibility , instead going for safe & sure corporate flamers .

If S. Jobs is willing to work for $1 for 3 years , helping BOTH shareholders and users , the CEO issue (if any) must be salary .

If JC is the guy , he will want to prove himself after IBM/EDS , and AAPL's board will cut a (stock) deal pleasing to him and S. Jobs .

Looks like AAPL , while considering the CEO , is laying out its plan for its software investor MSFT at Japan's MacWorld :

news.com

and MSFT is responding : " Ben Waldman, the general manager of Microsoft relations with Apple, said his company would develop original software for the Macintosh platform rather than merely translate existing program code. "We have more people working on Macintosh than we ever have in the history of the (MSFT) company," he said. "

Jim K.
PS: responding to "Seems like the Hitler analogy may have been fortuitous "
