Let me also put it this way, Inode.
As you should know (no longer a given these days), we are a federation of states.
It's not the popular vote that elects the president, but rather the states.
Each state can and should be allowed to run their elections as they see fit.
In the case of Georgia, if you don't like the way they ran their elections, tough luck. Unless you can prove that fraud occurred, you'll have to accept that their rules are just as legit as the rules of any other state.
It's the same as Florida, which gave the victory to George W. Bush in 2000. The entire media, as well as the entire Democrat party, went nuts over the way Florida ran their elections.
Many didn't even consider George W. Bush to be legitimately elected. "Not MY President," said all of the picket signs lining Bush's inauguration in January of 2001.
See the similarities? They thought Bush "stole" the election from Algore. They pushed for voting machines, electronic counting, and more robust systems to ensure that every vote is counted and counted only once.
20 years later, and now the tables have turned. Trump loses, and his supporters don't consider Brandon to be legitimately elected.
Samo samo ...
