John,
You're welcome for the synopsis. I really don't know what to think, Goldman raised '98 &'99 earnings estimates another 30% or so and I think the next push will depend on sales. $1M/day as mentioned is only 1/4 of what GDT was/is doing but it's early in the game for AVEI.
They put a yearend price of $90 on it. If the product is superior to GDT's we will not only eat JNJ's lunch but also some of the market GDT stole or owns.

Personally I am not adding to my position, would on any large dips which are not documented due to lack of or poor sales. The stock is up another couple today which is nice if you own it.

Of course, as mentioned before, a take-over would be another nice event and reason to be invested in AVEI. I do like the concept of the renal artery stent and the potential to use this technology for carotid arteries as well(currently they have to decide to shunt due to underlying disease and collateral blockage). Heck, this technology can be placed just about anywhere you can get a catheter threaded and visualized. Consider looking at some of the companies looking at beta and gamma radiation delivery at the time of stenting procedures, something AVEI doesn't have yet to my knowledge.

Good luck.

Aaron
