Thank you, Joe. Not being able to transfer is not a problem. The brokerage who sold you the stock has to have the old street certificates there. They should send you the certificate with proper endorsements. If they do not have the correct number of shares, then they will send you a certificate of the number of shares they hold for you in their possession. If they refuse to send you even that; they are in violation of selling naked shares. Meaning they took your money and did not buy any for you; you may be able to rescind your order.
