As most know, the "prep" for a colonoscopy is "the shits" but I found I enjoyed the first procedure (after the prep) while being partially lucid to watch while on a fentanyl mix similar to what I think got MJ. I'm 35 yrs. sober and told them on my last one that I enjoyed the high but also enjoyed watching so they gave me a bit lower dose and I remember more and didn't get the euphoric high. I was glad I got the procedure where they removed small polyps both times before they could have a chance to get bigger if my T-cells didn't get to them first.

I put it off until I was 60 and Obamacare would pay for it. Before then, it seemed a scam to ring up hospital charges. Now we know if insurance pays for it, then it is worthwhile to get done since it will save them a lot of money over the long term.

Sorry I did not check the link. I assumed it would link to the question and the answers I posted. They need or I need to learn an easy way to share results.
