The Democrats have become the party of the Millionaires and Upper Upper middle class. The Republicans have become the party of the Billionaires and the Fortune 500. The lower and middle income have no Party to support them. Many who are middle income will vote for who they perceive will lower their cost of living. Other factors represent secondary considerations.
