Hello Sonny, Ann, Tony, Sonki, Margaret, Paul, and others. Oh, and of course, Frank! Well having exposed myself as someone who has been listening in on your conversations for almost a year, I guess I'd better say a little more.
Yes, I own Intel and love it which is why I started visiting this board. I bought a large position in Intel last May the day after they announced earnings would disappoint. I'm not disappointed in that investment, tho I wish I hadn't doubled my stake at 98 last August! Oh well, in time that will look cheap.
What I love about this board is the camaraderie you all have and the fact that you talk about EVERYTHING. Each of you seems like a really terrific person.
Today is looking good, but I am hoping another of my stocks, DELL, will come in like gangbusters after the close and lift along with it tomorrow.
While I have large stakes in INTC and DELL, I have an even larger position in LOR and GSTRF which is sacrosanct for the next five years. I am praying that those four stocks will secure my retirement.
And like you Sonny, I am tearing out my hair over GLM. It's done so well in the past but the drillers just can't seem to shake out of their slump.
Tony and Sonki -- I used to work at Ford Aerospace at the 101 and San Antonio. I remember Frankie and Johnny's well -- even Luigi, too. Macaroni Grill seems to be all over the country now. The wine isn't great, but you can't beat the price. At the one I go to, they ask you how many glasses you've had and whether you say 2, 3, 4, or 5, they always charge you for two. I love Grgich Hills Cabs, but I'll drink colored water at that price.
And Ann -- Sorry, but Michigan was robbed in the coaches poll. I could never vote for a team that won one of its games on a FOOTball play. Tho I will admit Nebraska would probably have won a playoff with Michigan. |
