Trump was clearly referring to all POWs, not just McCain.

Again, you can argue that Trump wasn't serious, or that Trump was just taking a cheap shot at McCain and didn't really mean to disparage all POWs, etc. etc.

Either way, you are doing exactly as I expected, which is to keep making up for Trump's constant gaffes.

"He didn't really mean that."

"It was clearly sarcasm, and it's your fault for thinking otherwise."

"It's OK because McCain said mean things about Trump, too."

That's the very definition of gaslighting.

And I thought the Brandon administration were the masters of gaslighting ...
