Inode, You aren’t working at Facebook by any chance? Just checking… I know you're trolling because you're losing the debate, but I'll tell you this. Meta had money raining down from heaven, but their hardware engineers were out pursuing quixotic projects that tried to push Zuck's stupid-ass "metaverse." Now their hardware engineers are probably pursuing AI solutions, which I wouldn't mind being a part of, but my current startup is already in this field. Our work in AI (including solutions that enable next-gen AI) is our generation's Manhattan Project. Better that Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon lead the way over ByteDance, Alibaba, Avago, etc. Better that you trust us in Silicon Valley to keep America's tech edge alive than to turn us into demagogues just because some of us in Big Tech might be "woke" ...
