Yep,

The first to go are the NG peakers. They only typically fire up near system demand peaks when no other generation is available. They skim the cream off the peak demand charges sometimes many thousands of $$ per MHw.

Those days are dying fast with battery storage. NG peakers have become obsolete.

Hornsdale in Australia (Tesla's Powerpack storage system first installed in 2017) en.wikipedia.org has paid for itself many times over and will continue to make more $$ into the future.

It's no wonder that all fossil fueled generation is rapidly becoming obsolete.

Being priced out of business.

Tesla Powerwall owners in California are making a lot of money at their houses now.

Clean RE reinjected into the grid.

Technology marches on...
