I am definitely buying off the new lows list. Even though once on it, the companies seem to stay there for a while.

Here are some of these recent buys:

NWN. Looks roughly like four years of falling stock. At current price... I get 5% dividend yield, div raised every year, a Portland Oregon nat gas utility. In, and have been looking for courage to add for full position. (Safe and cheap?)
finance.yahoo.com

JACK. Profitable every year fast food co.

BTI. Down likely because England passed law banning all cig sales.

The restrictions will apply to the sale of cigarettes in the UK rather than the act of smoking itself. Under the new law, each year the legal age for cigarette sales - currently 18 - will increase by one year. It means that people born in or after 2009 will never be able to legally buy cigarettes, leading to an effective ban.
GLPI. A gambling property reit with good div.

CRMT. (volatile stock).

BF-B. Liquor. Most years has had a high p/e. finance.yahoo.com
I bet stock recovers and p/e rises. Otoh, stock could continue falling to bring the "high" p/e down even further (or earnings fall as well). Small add and small bet for me.

ABEV. South American beer. Ok dividend yield.

GILD and RHHBY. Small adds.

WDS. I continue to follow you here. Dividends fluctuate with earnings per company formula. Div yield now 7.5%.

INMD. I also added. A very small position. Some metric numbers look good. Otoh, another small Israeli medical device maker- makes me wonder about company prospects/viability.

Lot of US water utility stocks keep finding new lows. I'm in for a most small few shares of CWT for a spec. bet.

APTV, the GM's former Delphi automotive. My order is in for a few shares.
