When the United States installs an exceptionally weak president with serious dementia, a president who then gives money as you're acting out (Iran) or equivocates when asked about how the US would respond to an "incursion" into its neighboring state, that is the "go-ahead" for war. It should have been intuitive to respond to the question unequivocally. The response should have left zero doubt -- "No, NO INCURSION is acceptable to the United States, and will be met with the most serious of responses. In fact, that discussion should have been had prior to the buildup at the border beginning.

This is what happens when you put an idiot in the White House who has no idea how to negotiate, and it confirms the argument I've made here since my earliest visits to this page: There is no skill in a president as important as the ability to negotiate on a hard-core basis. Nothing else comes close, yet the issue is seldom raised in the campaign (well, Joe bragged about his big-talk BS threat with the Burisma, but that was before he started the war.

I don't give a damn what else a candidate has done. But if he has no negotiating skills -- and Joe's are zilch -- then he should not be in the running, period. These wars have proved again.
