It doesn’t matter. Stotenberg bas essentially stated that Trump salvaged the organization because inky the US was paying.

I would not support keeping NATO operational if others aren’t paying their way.

Reality is we can’t keep up the spending we have been doing. Surely, you realize that budgetary constraints are in fact constraints.
