An open letter to those who try to use FA on Micron. (1) Let's go back to Dec 15, 1997....Micron estimated earnings had dropped from +47 cents to +7 cents. (2) The actual was even lower at 4 cents. (3) Let's assume that you also knew the the current estimates were going to be -15 cents.. Which they are. (4) So being a FA type you went short MU at 22 knowing that at least 16 was near at hand ! (5) But MU when up some 77% to 39 ! (6) So what good is FA when it comes to MU ???? (7) So what does it matter what MU comes out with this quarter ?? (8) Can you put your money in MU based on earnings ??? (9) FA and a dollar will only get you a cup of coffee ! (10) How can any one in his right mind trust FA after seeing it be so wrong ???? (11) Using FA on MU has got to be plain stupid !!! It just does not work !!! Larry Dudash
