Because the air, moist warm air from exhaled breath, would be bypassing the mask through holes, where the mask did not seal against the skin on your face, typically between the nose and the cheek.

These gaps mentioned are bigger then a virus. In fact these face mask gaps would even let an overweight version of one of Erich Traub's experimental ticks to crawl through.

The experiment showing no change in "oxygen levels" was a piece of disingenuous garbage news from the gutter media outlet CTV news.

After reading just a few of the comments, it's clear what garbage that piece of "evidence" was. Disingenuous propaganda that you enthusiastically posted, even with all the respiratory knowledge and experience you possess.
