From a quick perusal of the round 1 results;
WNP is wasting no time, I have them leading in at least 31 markets, and it looks to be every large market, including NY, LA, Chic, San Fran, DC, Boston, Denver, Dallas, Detroit, Phil, Pitt, Houston, etc, etc.
I don't see any bids from NextBand, BCK, or WinStar.
Two other of the largest bidders, Baker Creek and Eclipse, who each deposited $10M up front, are only bidding on the B Block licenses.
Hopefully someone starts bidding against WNP or they may make a quick sweep of the nation (for cheap). Of course, you can't draw any conclusions after one round of bidding. Probably a lot like a poker game, everyone will keep there real intentions as concealed as possible for as long as possible. |
