I call TD ahead of time and make sure the person who answers the phone gets in contact with the back office to get the warrant set up for trading, otherwise it might take several days after the start of trading for them to get on it.

I do sometimes still have to call on the first day anyway, but those calls are very quick as they have just forgotten to make the new listing active.

I include the CUSIP number in my communication if I have it, but generally the back office can find the upcoming warrant details without it.
