I am not a citizen of the United States. When I did use email I did not send email for people other than the recipient(s) to see. I do remember an instance where while working for a small engineering company I emailed one of Enbridge's company standards to myself to read it at home and made the mistake of using an old email address I lost when my domestic service provider changed their domain name, it took some time before I discovered the mistake.

I haven't used email in some months mostly in displeasure over the coercive actions of email service providers, first by my domestic internet service provider and later by the American one that the domestic provider dumped the service to. When I upgraded Microsoft Windows I created a Microsoft email address, and then when I installed Microsoft Office I created another Microsoft email address. Hearing about Investor Village being offline lately it does seem like the internet is getting smaller.

Yesterday I started experiencing bandwidth problems again during market hours and again this morning, I do not know what information technology bad actor(s) is causing the problem. Last fall when this problem (and other problems) were really bad and I was having problems with Advanced Dashboard I told Toronto Dominion, "I think you have a problem with the phone company." I phoned the phone company, and talked to the Sales department, told them about my experiences and told the salesperson "I signed up for high speed internet and I'm not going to change my internet plan because I don't believe you will deliver what was sold." I did buy a new computer and the problems subsided until yesterday. I still have the old computer.
