I subscribed to the Hedges Report. There are many good journalist out there, I think it's a good idea to push a few bucks in their direction to keep um going. The need for good journalism, especially today, is up there with food and shelter.

I think the government should provide a tax break for people who fund journalists. We would not want the government to fund journalists directly, but let people choose themselves who to fund.

It's a cheap way for the government to find out what's going on. They could scrap a few thousand quangos and save the treasury a whole bunch of buckeroos.

Some kooks will be out of funds, but they could go and get real jobs.
