Eric, one thing the RuZZians are probably doing right now is trying to figure out stealth technology. This is because they can't seem to overcome Ukraine's air defenses.

You can see how RuZZia is now using their Air Force. None of their fighters, bombers, or attack choppers fly close to the contact line anymore. They all launch their ordinance from a distance.

The U.S. during Vietnam and afterwards has developed "Wild Weasel" tactics in order to counter enemy air defenses, especially RuZZian surface-to-air missiles. It's an elaborate game of cat-n-mouse that the USAF has developed over decades:

Wild Weasel (Wikipedia)

Unfortunately for the RuZZians, they never worked on their own version of "Wild Weasel."

It's also the reason why their "FIFTH GENERATION FIGHTERS" (tm. Top Gun: Maverick) is useless in Ukraine. It's not stealthy. Just agile in a dogfight, but there are no more dogfights in modern warfare.

Maybe China can help RuZZia develop their own stealth technology, but I doubt it. China will want to keep their tech within their own borders.
