The Wall Street Journal has issued a new weekend report saying that US intelligence agencies do not believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin planned or ordered the death of opposition activist and politician Alexei Navalny.
What's this supposed to prove, anyway? Navalny was stuck in a gulag with failing health. He was left to die of "natural causes."

Besides, it is also believed that PooTin didn't plan or order the death of Master Chef Prigozhin, either. Yet it happened, and PooTin isn't eager to find out who did it, much less prosecute those who were responsible.

That's how PooTin maintains power in his Mafia state. He pits people against each other and lets them duke it out in plain sight. He never lets anyone other than his closest loyalists rise above a certain threshold of power.

Despots all around the world are looking to PooTin as a model for retaining power and avoiding those pesky coups ...
