Prosecute him The matter on the table was the timing of this wide conspiracy relative to the date of Trump's surprise election. The claim was that the conspiracy was operational before the election. I would hope we could agree that time flows in a direction--sequence being a law of nature, and that no one could conspire to prosecute him before both the crimes were committed and he was elected. Were there a conspiracy to prosecute him, it could not have been in place prior to his election. This is very simple logic.
